We partnered with North Polk High School to bring their Girls Soccer team's hype video to life. Our crew worked with the team and school to coordinate a media day shoot as well as capture a live game for intermixing footage.
Hype videos are a unique piece because they have to be high energy, engaging, and keep younger audiences locked in for the full duration at a live event. With a goal in mind, we set off to create some high octane content for the team.
PRE-PRODUCTION
This media package was unique because the program had a major request - they wanted every player included in the video. Which doesn't sound that difficult, until we realized there are 50+ players on the roster. That meant our team had to meticulously keep track of how many shots and options for footage we had that included all of the players.
This involved tracking on a spreadsheet and marking off specific shots as well as getting group shots and 'safety' shots to cover our bases.
PRODUCTION
The Snaadt Media Group team captured individual headshots, team photos, lifestyle photos, and a hype video.
We broke out the lights, haze, and creative concepts to bring their vision to life. Adding dramatic lighting, effects, props, and other elements keep these videos fun and exciting while letting the players express themselves.

WEATHER CHALLENGES
Weather was a challenge during the game shoot. With heavy rain and thunderstorms forcing the game to cancel, our team had to work against the elements to capture some usable game action shots all while trying to keep gear dry.
We were much luckier with weather on the media day shoot, catching a beautiful Iowa sunset over the stadium which allowed for some striking sunflares and bubblegum colors in the sky.
POST PRODUCTION
Once the sun went down, our team worked to create some staged lighting set ups that gave us some fun dramatic cut aways while letting the girls show some personality.
Moving into the edit, our team cut multiple deliverables for the team, giving dozens of photos and videos that they can share throughout the season as well as an online headshot gallery. The gallery allows players and parents to download photos and even order prints if they need.
