Video Editor

Part Time - Video Production and Editing

Snaadt Media Group, a dynamic video production company based in Granger, Iowa, is seeking a talented Part-Time Video Editor to join our growing team. We specialize in creating compelling content for clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to local sports teams, helping brands of all sizes excel in the digital marketing landscape.

Position Overview:

As a Part-Time Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in our post-production process, working on a diverse array of projects including corporate promotional pieces, paid ads, sports hype videos, podcasts, YouTube training sessions, and social media posts. Your creativity and technical skills will help bring our clients' visions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with our production team and contractor partners to edit high-quality video content that meets client objectives.

- Assist in all post-production activities, ensuring timely completion of projects.

- Maintain organized project files and adhere to established workflows.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience editing with Adobe Premiere; proficiency in other Adobe Creative Suite applications is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.

- Excellent time and project management skills to meet deadlines.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Familiarity with various video formats and platforms, including social media.

-Located locally in the Des Moines, IA area with the ability to commute to our studio in Granger, IA.

Working Conditions and Perks:

- Hourly Rate: $20 per hour.

- Schedule: 25 hours per week, with flexible hours based on your availability.

- Opportunity for this role to become a full-time position based on performance.

- Hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of half of the hours worked at our Granger-based studio.

- Provided editing computer, desk, and workstation.

Content Creator

Part Time - Video Production and Editing

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic, creative individual to join our team in the role of Content Creator. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing and editing various types of content including client projects, podcasts, social media content, drone footage, and miscellaneous projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Shoot and edit client work, podcasts, social media content, drone footage, and miscellaneous projects.
Operate cameras, mics, drones, and other production equipment.
Demonstrate editing proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and other Adobe applications.
Ability to work on production sets with a variety of clients.
Must be physically fit to endure the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, carrying heavy camera equipment (50+ lbs), and sitting for long periods during editing.
FAA Part 107 Drone certification is a plus.

Requirements:

Educational background or equivalent production experience in film, media production, or related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and camera operation.
Highly dependable with a strong work ethic.
Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Head of Production

Full Time - Management

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Head of Production on a full-time basis. This pivotal position involves leadership in all facets of video production and management, leading the production team on set and in the edit, and serving an a operations manager for the studio.

Responsibilities:

Lead all client shoots, ensuring smooth operation, adherence to schedules, and efficient team coordination.
Manage shoot schedules and team members effectively, optimizing resource allocation.
Oversee all aspects of production from initial scripting to final delivery, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
Previous experience in a production or producer role is advantageous.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree or equivilant production/leadership experience in the field
Strong intropersonal skills and ability to communicate with both creatives and corporate teams
Ability to lead by example, executing on production sets
Ability to lead a small team of creatives, improving their skill sets and challenging them to grow

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in film, media production, or related field.

Skills:

Proficiency in project management software for efficient task organization and team coordination.
Excellent communication skills for effective client interactions and team collaboration.
Strong organizational abilities with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Demonstrated ability to keep projects on-time and within budget constraints.

This is a full-time position with the potential for profit sharing as part of the compensation package.
The successful candidate will play a key role in executing senior leadership's vision to establish the premier video marketing business in the Midwest.
